"Without a doubt, Tarrega is my favorite guitar composer. I started playing guitar again after a 25 year hiatus, and this book is overall, a good level of difficulty for me. The seven studies and 12 preludes are fairly easy, but beautiful. Much of the music here is probably for the beginner, but would be good warmups for the intermediate player. The simplified arrangements, such as Recuerdos, aren't very interesting to me, but there are pieces for early intermediate players, too. Overall, a good introduction to the fine music of Tarrega."
